Bambou

Bambou is also one of the four gracious plants and stands for summer, but also for strength and flexibility, outside very hard, inside hollow, it bends with the wind, but does not break.

Le bambou fait aussi partie des quatre plantes nobles. Il est un symbole de l’été, mais également de force et de flexibilité, à l’extérieur très dur, à l’intérieur creux. Il se plie dans le vent mais ne rompt pas.

Bambus gehört auch zu den vier Edlen. Er steht für Sommer, aber auch für Stärke und Flexibilität, außen sehr hart, innen hohl, er biegt sich mit dem Wind aber bricht nicht.

neueste Arbeiten z. Zt. in meinem Atelier. Wie alle Themen kann man Bambus immer wieder neu erarbeiten, diesmal beschränkte ich mich auf 1-2 Stämme und habe dafür Tierchen beigefügt – schwarzweiß, versteht sich.

Recent works in my studio. Like all subjects you can study bambou again and again. This time I have reduced to 1-2 bambou parts but I have integrated little insects – black and white, of course.
